Currently, Pegatron is responsible for approximately 30% of Apple's product assembly and OEM orders, and it plans to build plants in India, Indonesia and Vietnam. Li Shuo, president of Heshuo, said that the company will soon announce more details on plans to build factories in India, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Although Heshuo did not mention Apple in the statement, the connection between Heshuo and Foxconn is obvious. Some media reports that Apple plans to assemble a high-end iPhone in India. In addition, the sales of smartphones in India and other markets are growing faster, which also prompts mobile phone manufacturers to pay more attention to these markets.

Currently, Foxconn has factories in India and Vietnam, but these factories do not produce any apple products. Last week, there were media reports that Foxconn executives will visit India next month to discuss the production of the flagship iPhone in the local area.

In December last year, some media reported that Apple plans to assemble a "high-end iPhone" in India as early as 2019. At present, only Apple's foundry makers produce iPhones in India, model iPhone II.

The Financial Times also said in the report that Foxconn’s recent filings with regulators indicate that it has invested US$213.5 million in the Indian branch and obtained land use rights in Vietnam.
