Recently, the IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 automotive version standard global development working group meeting was held at Bosch Automotive Components (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. This is the first IPC Global Standards Development Working Group meeting held in China, from the United States, Europe. More than 40 experts from the automotive electronics industry in Mexico, Japan and China attended the meeting. This standard is the most widely used IPC-A-610 standard and electronic assembly process standard for the electronic assembly industry in the world. The J-STD-001 standard is an additional version of the application in the automotive industry.

The Global Standards Development Working Group meeting was held in China to discuss more than 200 revisions and supplements submitted by the China Standards Development Group. It is the most widely used IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 in the electronics assembly industry at the requirements of GM, Ford, Volkswagen, Toyota and other automakers, as well as auto parts manufacturers such as Bosch, Continental, United Auto and Autoliv. Based on the standards, the application standards for the exclusive field are developed for the automotive electronics industry. The IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 automotive version standard has been established since 2016. A total of 177 expert volunteers participated in the development of the standard, including 56 members of the China Standards Group. Members of the China Standards Group actively participated in the standard development work, reviewed the draft, and proposed more than 200 amendments and additional opinions. This time, the Bosch Automotive Components (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. held a global standard development working group meeting to specifically discuss the Chinese technical group. The revisions and additional comments will be submitted to the Standards Development Management Committee for consideration after the technical group discussion is approved. This standard is expected to be released in September 2019, when the global automotive industry will have a true electronic assembly international standard as the norm for product manufacturing and quality acceptance.
